PEGylated polymeric nanocapsules for oral delivery of trypsin targeted to the small intestines

The lack of trypsin in the intestines may end up with malnutrition; thus, replacement therapy is required such cases. main objective this study to formulate and evaluate polymeric nanocapsule (PNC) systems able deliver small minimal release stomach maximum biological activity. Four formulations were prepared by double emulsion/evaporation method as w/o/w s/o/w. Particle size, encapsulation efficiencies, drug simulated gastric fluids (SGF) intestinal (SIF), morphology, activity encapsulated shelf-life stability investigated for all formulations. All had a spherical shape submicron efficiency more than 80%. was significantly affected amount trehalose whether s/o/w or (P < 0.05). Most protein released sustainedly at target site (SIF) over 24 h minimum fluids. Also, 90% physical integrity retained after storage under chilled conditions six months. However, enzymatic assay results show that low content, low, while increasing increased shelf reach around 100% months study. obtained research work clearly indicated promising potential controlled nanocapsules containing intestine protect from harsh condition facing proteins during process preparation period storage.
